María Cecilia Pou is a senior attorney in the Labor & Employment Practice at WSC Legal. She advises domestic and international clients on employment law, risk management, claims of mischaracterization of employment, human resources, collective bargaining matters, and management-side employment litigation. She represents clients in the courts sitting in the City of Buenos Aires and works pro hac vice with local counsel in other jurisdictions. María Cecilia also frequently advises on employment & labor aspects of due diligence processes in mergers and acquisitions. She has a robust practice in representing management in administrative proceedings.

Before joining WSC Legal, María Cecilia worked in various prominent firms in Buenos Aires where she held leadership positions. She has advised local and foreign companies on a wide variety of employment issues and managed a massive claims portfolio of more than 500 matters. She has represented employees, particularly executive employees, in wrongful discharge and severance claims.
