Since joining WSC Legal in June 2012, Lara has served as Head of the Translation Bureau. Under her stewardship, the WSC Translation Bureau provides certified and non-certified (convenience) translations services in English and Spanish. The Bureau also coordinates translation projects in several other foreign languages, including Portuguese, French, Italian, Russian, German and Japanese.

In 2010, she began her professional career as a freelance translator performing translations of a wide range of disciplines for individuals, companies and a non-profit organization engaged in environmental issues.

From 2010 to 2011, Lara co-translated the book “The Economy of Recognition. Person, Market and Society According to Antonio Rosmini,” written by Argentine philosopher Carlos Hoevel.

In 2012, she was part of the Translation and Editing Pool of another renowned firm in Buenos Aires, where she made translations of public documents, economics and environmental texts.

Lara continues working as an independent professional in her startup of translation, interpretation and proofreading services.
