Since the beginning of his legal career in 1995, Gonzalo has handled major litigation matters related to breach of contract, trademark disputes, distributorships, carriage of goods, debtor-creditor and business tort claims for both domestic and foreign clients.
At the age of 27, Gonzalo was named Legal Manager for Coca-Cola Andina, where he headed a team of in-house lawyers that managed all legal matters, including the company’s critical HR relationships with employees and unions. As Legal Manager, he also advised on the wide range of legal issues affecting the company, including stock and asset acquisitions, debt restructuring, corporate mergers and other organic changes of the group.
After completing his LL.M degree at the University of Pennsylvania, Gonzalo Soto joined Duane Morris LL.P as a visiting attorney.
At WSC Legal, Gonzalo continues to manage Coca-Cola Andina’s legal affairs and advises other domestic and international companies on a broad range of business, litigation and employment law matters.
Gonzalo sits on the board of directors of several companies and has served as trustee of the Argentine Chamber of Non-Alcoholic Beverages. He is an active member of the Penn Alumni Club in Buenos Aires.
Gonzalo has been recognized by Chambers and Partners as a “leading practitioner” in dispute resolution.
